Valentim Sacadura charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentim Sacadura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Assencada getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valentim Sacadura hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Amaral during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th play minute Cristoforo Zoccali came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vítor Pinto. 2-0. Vítor Pinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Flores made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cristoforo Zoccali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assencada's Vítor Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aloísio Bernardes fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assencada's protests and gave Aloísio Bernardes a yellow card for diving instead. Sporting Lisbon®'s Inácio Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Flores in the 79th minute of play. Jorge Gueifão hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Vítor Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 尹宇岩, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes Assencada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diamantino Amaral who took care of the corner kick.
