Mariano Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Matias in the 24th minute of play forced Capelinha FC's goalkeeper Américo Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Mariano Matias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Américo Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 minutes of play, Capelinha FC's Rui Tavares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Andrias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Domingues came free, but Jorge Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Trindade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Viana. Andrias FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Jorge Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andrias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Viana got free with Américo Setúbal in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Capelinha FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Matias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
