Aurelio Tximitx made a great header on Sporting Clube Vinhense's corner, it was just that Tresouras FC's Marco Fontes managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee ignored Tresouras FC's protests and gave Ademar Macena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tresouras FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ademar Macena hit a great ball. 41 minutes in the game, Fernando Caussade fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marco Fontes having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Fernando Caussade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Fontes. Fernando Caussade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Fernando Caussade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marco Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Tximitx was the one to do the kick off. In the 70th match minute, Tresouras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Caldeira to maneuver through the defense. Marco Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Tximitx went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Fontes having to interfere. Fernando Caussade succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. 80 minutes into the game, António Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Vinhense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tresouras FC the free kick. The supporters of Tresouras FC booed when Sporting Clube Vinhense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catarino Caldeira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fernando Caussade scored 9-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes Tresouras FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Macena. Marco Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Tximitx in the 93rd minute of the match. Tresouras FC's Marco Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Caussade in the 96th minute of play. Aurelio Tximitx struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marco Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Vinhense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Clube Vinhense fully deserved thier win.
