Enzo Granja took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Januário Domingues. Januário Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Cercio booed when SC Alcafozes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Corte-Real didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Brito, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Granja in the 61st minute of play forced Cercio's goalkeeper Januário Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Filinto Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cercio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filinto Andrade couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SC Alcafozes were victorious despite being under pressure from Cercio for much of the match.
