Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aristides Telinhos made the kick off which started today's match. Gralhas FC's David Portela got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, David Portela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Catarino Aveiro. Boldrarias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Portela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Plácido Pinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Aveiro was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 10 minutes, Aristides Cavaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boldrarias and the Gralhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Boldrarias got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Cavaco. After 11 played minutes, Gralhas FC's Vicente Quintela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Catarino Aveiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gralhas FC reached it. In the 26th minute, Nuno Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Boldrarias's Diego Raminhos got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Plácido Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Valter Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Telinhos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catarino Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Plácido Pinto in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

David Portela in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Catarino Aveiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Boldrarias's zone, David Portela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Aveiro came out of the goal and David Portela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Plácido Pinto in the 74th minute of play. Plácido Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Aveiro having to interfere. David Portela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervásio Vilaça's late challenge caught a Boldrarias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervásio Vilaça helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boldrarias booed when Gralhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Vilaça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Portela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Telinhos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gralhas FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gervásio Vilaça hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Aparício Morais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Portela skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Portela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Telinhos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boldrarias's zone, Emanuel Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Aveiro came out of the goal and Emanuel Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gralhas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
