But to his dismay, Vasco Lobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Palmela's zone, Sálvio Telinhos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Prates came out of the goal and Sálvio Telinhos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sálvio Telinhos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Prates didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Pegões. In the 17th minute Jorge Modesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cândido Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamilton Caiado in the 18th minute of play. With his leg Rodolfo Prates managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Fc Pegões's Sálvio Telinhos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sálvio Telinhos got free with Rodolfo Prates in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Fc Pegões got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Costa. After a defensive mix-up in Palmela's zone, Sálvio Telinhos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Modesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rodolfo Prates was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Medeiros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Palmela's Rodolfo Prates proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Palmela from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Medeiros made a kick off. The Fc Pegões fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 84th match minute, Fc Pegões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilídio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Alcides Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palmela's zone, Afonso Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Prates came out of the goal and Afonso Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sálvio Telinhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Prates having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Afonso Medeiros made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palmela's Rodolfo Prates tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fc Pegões walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
