Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Aristides Viana started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beniamin Kaznocha made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Filipe Campos sent off a good shot on target. SC Turiz's Pedro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Rocha in the 6th minute of play. If Leonardo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Viana in the 12th minute of the match. Rui Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beniamin Kaznocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. António Viana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. SC Turiz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Beniamin Kaznocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Aristides Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Viana in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. António Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th match minute, Vareiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Vilanova to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Beniamin Kaznocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Turiz's Pedro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Rocha in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Leonardo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vareiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Rocha got free with Pedro Vale in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SC Turiz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mariano Santarém hit a great ball. Vareiros FC's Aristides Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Vítor Lucena's late challenge caught a SC Turiz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Lucena helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vareiros FC's Vítor Lucena got a free kick in the 71st minute. Leonardo Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonardo Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 80th minute. Pedro Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Aristides Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beniamin Kaznocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Vareiros FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
