Manuel Sá scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Coelho in the 10th minute of play. Simão Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Eusébio Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Luís Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Pires in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 98th play minute Tiago Gonçalves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eduardo Pedroso. 1-2.
