Aboa's Marcelo Matias shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amílcar Andrade but with some difficulty. In the 5th minute, Fernando Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Simão Castro made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Rebocho. Aboa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Silvano Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aboa's protests and gave Silvano Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Alvaledes booed when Aboa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Queirós in the 20th minute of the match. Manuel Cabral took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Rebocho. Leonardo Rebocho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Aboa's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Cabral came free, but Leonardo Rebocho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cabral in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Manuel Cabral notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Aboa's Leonardo Rebocho. Leonardo Rebocho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SC Alvaledes's Pedro Pereira got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard shot by Carlos Guterres from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Amílcar Andrade's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Amílcar Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Candal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Manuel Cabral struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leonardo Rebocho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alvaledes. Leonardo Rebocho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Cabral's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Candal was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Candal scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílcar Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Leonardo Rebocho managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when SC Alvaledes's Manuel Cabral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Cabral in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonardo Rebocho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th match minute, Aboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. SC Alvaledes made a substitution. Bruno Matos replaced Henrique Queirós. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Cabral in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Rebocho saved Aboa from getting behind. Bruno Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
