The supporters of F.C.Dragons booed when Argoncilhe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Júdice, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Paulo Travassos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 40 minutes into the match, F.C.Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Matos came free, but Paulo Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Alexandre Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Dragons. When Artur Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argoncilhe FC's protests and gave Artur Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Argoncilhe FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Artur Garcia hit a great ball. Alexandre Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Fragoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Artur Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Travassos. F.C.Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Carlos Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Travassos having to interfere. If Carlos Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Matos in the 72nd minute of play forced F.C.Dragons's goalkeeper Paulo Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herberto Gois during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Herberto Gois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Guarda in the 82nd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
