The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Joaquim Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veni Vidi Vici FC's Pascoal Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Silva in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascoal Miranda saved Veni Vidi Vici FC from getting behind. Daniel Brás hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, SC Bagaco's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Guimarães came free, but Armindo Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Daniel Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bagaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Daniel Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Joaquim Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Veni Vidi Vici FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Veríssimo to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Antunes struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pascoal Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bagaco. Pascoal Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leal Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascoal Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Silva's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute Daniel Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Joaquim Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Pascoal Miranda made a huge save. Joaquim Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pascoal Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Veni Vidi Vici FC's goalkeeper Pascoal Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Antunes. In the last second Pascoal Miranda throw himself and got hold of the ball when Daniel Antunes in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 59 played minutes SC Bagaco got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Brás. In the 63rd minute Daniel Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes in the game, Daniel Antunes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pascoal Miranda having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Lisboa during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes SC Bagaco got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Lisboa. Armindo Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Guterres in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Américo Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bagaco and the Veni Vidi Vici FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Américo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Veni Vidi Vici FC's Leonel Campelo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascoal Miranda made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Joaquim Silva sent off a good shot on target. Pascoal Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Campelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco Vaz charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Tobias Guterres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leonel Campelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veni Vidi Vici FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Campelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
