MALHANELAS's Lourenço Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Malheiro in the 24th minute of play. Jorge Ferreira scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lourenço Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of MALHANELAS booed when SC Nandufe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilídio Mourão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homero Mourato was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sabino Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Fontoura in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Valério Fontoura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Nandufe's Sabino Guarda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valério Fontoura scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabino Guarda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herberto Guimarães in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabino Guarda saved SC Nandufe from getting behind. After 72 minutes of play, MALHANELAS's Herberto Guimarães made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabino Guarda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78 minutes, Bernardo Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MALHANELAS and the SC Nandufe players grew even worse after the yellow card.
