But to his dismay, Gerrit de Zeeuw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 9 played minutes Melides FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Fernandes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit de Zeeuw got free with Gaspar Gaspar in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Melides FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Álvaro Fernandes hit a great ball. Yıldıray Akyazıcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Burkert in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Gogo Uzuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gaspar Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Queirós hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Melides FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit de Zeeuw. 25 minutes into the match, Gerrit de Zeeuw notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Melides FC's Gaspar Gaspar. Gaspar Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Valboense FC's Gaspar Gaspar threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arkadiusz Jaroch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gaspar Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Uzuri in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Mariano Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melides FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The shot was stopped by Gaspar Gaspar but with some difficulty. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Burkert was the one to do the kick off. Melides FC's Ashley Walloch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bartolomé Albrecht, made in the 51st minute of the game. Melides FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Jaroch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Valboense FC made a substitution. Vítor Soeiro replaced Korneliusz Janiczek. Melides FC's Gaspar Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit de Zeeuw in the 72nd minute of play. Gaspar Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Santana went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Altino Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Melides FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Uzuri came free, but Gaspar Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
