Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu Damásio started the match with the kick off. Jairo Ornelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Damásio in the 5th minute of the match. Duarte Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amadeu Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Damásio in the 20th minute of play. Amadeu Damásio scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Ornelas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Gois got free with Jairo Ornelas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duarte Gois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Ornelas having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Alfarrobeira's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Damásio came free, but Jairo Ornelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Gois kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Ornelas. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Gois got free with Jairo Ornelas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Damásio in the 55th minute of play forced Alfarrobeira's goalkeeper Jairo Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Gois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jairo Ornelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Duarte Gois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ornelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Damásio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Cutamas A.C's Adriano Neto got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Severo got free with Gastão Peseiro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Amadeu Damásio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cutamas A.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Damásio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Damásio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Damásio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Ornelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Ornelas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Damásio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Duarte Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Amadeu Damásio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Damásio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Daniel Severo's late challenge caught a Cutamas A.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Severo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Daniel Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Ornelas came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Cutamas A.C's Amadeu Damásio. But to his dismay, Amadeu Damásio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Damásio in the 95th minute of play forced Alfarrobeira's goalkeeper Jairo Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duarte Gois came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cutamas A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Gois couldn't finish the play. Cutamas A.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
