Leandro Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Campos in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Mota in the 47th minute of play forced Carraptinha II's goalkeeper Leandro Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Peleias were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Mota was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Taveira in the 51st minute of the match. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Peleias's João Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Cruz. That made the score 0-2 after 88 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peleias eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
