Humberto Laureano came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Faria could save by the left post. Valenca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Igor Rego scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Faria, making the score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Juliano Caldas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Faria having to interfere. Humberto Laureano scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Salvado in the 96th minute of play. Mitau Cabuzz's Humberto Laureano got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Mitau Cabuzz were the better team. Mitau Cabuzz's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
