Leandro Morais took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Martins. Francisco Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. From close distance Leandro Morais pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 10 minutes into the game. A collision led to Sabroso FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gaspar Gomes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Leoverpool's Diamantino Sesimbra tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amável Amaral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Leoverpool's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Francisco Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amável Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sabroso FC's Gaspar Gomes got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Leandro Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leoverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Martins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amável Amaral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. Nuno Leal struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Saúl Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabroso FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Fragoso during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Simões in the 41st minute of play forced Leoverpool's goalkeeper Saúl Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Martins. Sabroso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sabroso FC's zone, Leandro Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Martins came out of the goal and Leandro Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amável Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amável Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Leandro Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Francisco Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Leoverpool booed when Sabroso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micael Quaresma charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micael Quaresma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 92 minutes, Leandro Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
