Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Serralva's Hermenegildo Aleixo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Esteves in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evandro Cordeiro saved Serralva from getting behind. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gil Esteves sped through Serralva's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evandro Cordeiro. If Gil Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th of the match, Hermenegildo Aleixo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sandro Silva got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 16 minutes of play, Salgadinho's José Gonçalves made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Gil Esteves notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Serralva's Evandro Cordeiro. Evandro Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gil Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salgadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Serralva defense, José Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evandro Cordeiro. The Serralva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evandro Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Hermenegildo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sandro Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, José Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salgadinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gil Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serralva's Evandro Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateusz Sitko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Evandro Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Gil Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serralva's Evandro Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Salgadinho's Gil Esteves in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serralva's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Salgadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Aleixo came free, but Sandro Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Cordeiro having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Esteves to make the kick off. Mateusz Sitko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, one of Serralva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Evandro Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgadinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Porto got free with Evandro Cordeiro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Serralva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Brochado to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, José Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evandro Cordeiro. Serralva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With a little luck, Serralva's Evandro Cordeiro got control of the ball when Gil Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salgadinho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
