Thanks to some nice moves Rui Martins could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Amado Gonçalves however easily saved by the left post. Amado Gonçalves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filipe Delgado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Delgado in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Gonçalves saved Quintos FC from getting behind. Joaquim Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cassiano Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Joaquim Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filipe Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gonçalves having to interfere. Joaquim Faro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Fornos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Filipe Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Amado Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Armindo Gomes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Amado Gonçalves to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassiano Veloso to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Fornos FC's Joaquim Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Joaquim Faro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Amado Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fornos FC. Filipe Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gonçalves having to interfere. Amado Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Martins in the 66th minute of the match. Fornos FC's Filipe Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Delgado in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Cassiano Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amado Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Filipe Delgado made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quintos FC's Amado Gonçalves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Rui Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Fornos FC's Filipe Delgado. But to his dismay, Filipe Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Delgado in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Gonçalves saved Quintos FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Filipe Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Fornos FC's Joaquim Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Fornos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
