If Hugo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Óscar Alves throw himself and got hold of the ball when Giovanni van As in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Óscar Alves was a little too slow when Jorge Delgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 32nd minute Luís Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Giovanni van As had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Alves. SC Figueirosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni van As was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, CASSETES DE VIALONGA's Hugo Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Óscar Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Junqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Gentil Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Figueirosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gentil Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Óscar Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni van As in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the SC Figueirosa defense, Hugo Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Óscar Alves. The SC Figueirosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Óscar Alves should have stopped the shot. Jorge Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Óscar Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Alves having to interfere. The supporters of CASSETES DE VIALONGA booed when SC Figueirosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Igrejas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, SC Figueirosa's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Queirós came free, but Óscar Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Igrejas during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Óscar Igrejas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of SC Figueirosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CASSETES DE VIALONGA:s goal. Gentil Travassos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koulis Balis in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jorge Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Óscar Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Queirós in the 92nd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, SC Figueirosa's goal looked a bit too open when Koulis Balis came free, but Óscar Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
