Miguel Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Pereira took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Correia. Cláudio Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 61 played minutes Selhariz FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Paiva. In the 69th minute of the match Acrescenta got a corner. Selhariz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artur Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Artur Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Selhariz FC's Hélder Viana did a great save. In the 71st minute Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Carneiro in the 72nd minute of the match.
