Marco Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Vigário in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, João Belém cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marco Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Mariano Vigário left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Paraduca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Humberto Domingues lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perosinho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave SC Paraduca a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Graciano Souto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Perosinho FC's Marco Matias. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Rocha in the 22nd minute of play forced Perosinho FC's goalkeeper Marco Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Perosinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Regueira came free, but Marco Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Belém during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Paraduca getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. João Belém hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Mariano Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Amorim hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, João Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paraduca's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Mariano Vigário who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perosinho FC's Marco Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evandro Pádua kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Perosinho FC's Armindo Amorim broke free and sent away a ball that went into the goal by the right post. 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Perosinho FC's Marco Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Rocha in the 53rd minute of play. Armindo Amorim didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, Perosinho FC's Marco Matias got control of the ball when João Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Paraduca's Fabiano Fernandes suffered a sprained foot after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Adelino Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perosinho FC's protests and gave Adelino Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the game, one of Perosinho FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Marco Matias, was totally fooled by SC Paraduca's Graciano Souto, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 85 played minutes SC Paraduca got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Regueira. João Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Marco Matias made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Paraduca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
