Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Sebastião Leiria made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Leiria in the 14th minute of play forced FC Arouca's goalkeeper Damião Durães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Emanuel Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Almada and the FC Arouca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Leão hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Almada's zone, Durval Serpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Durval Serpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, FC Arouca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Brites to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Moreira, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Damião Durães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastião Leiria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, SC Almada's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Malafaia came free, but Armindo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Arouca's Hugo Malafaia. But to his dismay, Hugo Malafaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Durval Serpa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Almada's Joel Ramos got a free kick in the 39th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Malafaia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes FC Arouca got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Fontoura. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Sebastião Leiria put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damião Durães. 64 minutes into the match, SC Almada's goalkeeper Armindo Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Serpa. SC Almada's Sebastião Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Arouca's Damião Durães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Leiria in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Durval Serpa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Joaquim Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Almada! Armindo Rodrigues went to the wrong direction when Olavo Borba was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 92 played minutes FC Arouca got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Borba. 93 minutes into the match, FC Arouca's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Leiria came free, but Damião Durães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Malafaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When Hugo Malafaia came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the FC Arouca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Malafaia couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Almada could leave the field as winners, despite FC Arouca having more of the ball for most of the match.
