Hermes Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adelino Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes, Cacemes FC's Ivo Prada shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Ferreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cacemes FC reached it. Hermes Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Fonseca in the 60th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Rui Peralta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacemes FC and the SC ROGER players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Cacemes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Peralta to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Bernardo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermes Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Pinheiro in the 89th minute of the match. Bernardo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hermes Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC ROGER. Gonçalo Pinheiro took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermes Ribeiro. Hermes Ribeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Cacemes FC defense, Bernardo Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermes Ribeiro. The Cacemes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermes Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC ROGER fully deserved thier win.
