Spectators: 7144 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Arcozelo FC were furious when Gustavo Pereira was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 4th minute, one of Arcozelo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arcozelo FC. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for União Cerro de S. Miguel. Julião Lucena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vasco Setúbal. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Arcozelo FC's Luís Rodrigues got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in União Cerro de S. Miguel's zone, Carlos Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Lameirinhas came out of the goal and Carlos Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacob Lameirinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Vítor Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Julião Lucena's late challenge caught a Arcozelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julião Lucena helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes União Cerro de S. Miguel got a freekick which was hit by Julião Lucena. Jacob Lameirinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Carlos Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Lameirinhas having to interfere. Jacob Lameirinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vítor Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Lameirinhas having to make a save. The supporters of Arcozelo FC booed when União Cerro de S. Miguel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, União Cerro de S. Miguel's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Gomesano came free, but Jacob Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lourenço Macedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After the first half União Cerro de S. Miguel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Gomesano to make the kick off. Carlos Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Lameirinhas having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Arcozelo FC's Vítor Rocha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Lameirinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Gomesano took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Lameirinhas. Jacob Lameirinhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Daniel Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Lameirinhas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carlos Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arcozelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Gomesano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Lameirinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Arcozelo FC's Daniel Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Lameirinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Mota during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Gomesano struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jacob Lameirinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcozelo FC. In the 84th minute, Carlos Gomesano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arcozelo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 87 minutes into the game, Carlos Gomesano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jacob Lameirinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jacob Lameirinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Arcozelo FC were the better team. Arcozelo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
