After 15 minutes of play, Endless Nameless's Lourenço Jesus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Gama in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Endless Nameless's Jacinto Tavares got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes, Salir's Manuel Vargas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper António Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salir reached it. António Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Morais in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Morais in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Vieira saved Salir from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Endless Nameless's goalkeeper António Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Gama. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lourenço Jesus made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lourenço Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Endless Nameless fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Salir's Herberto Viana got a free kick in the 56th minute. Hélder Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of António Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Endless Nameless was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Jesus to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Salir booed when Endless Nameless was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Endless Nameless's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lourenço Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. In the 93rd minute Lourenço Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Salir's Valter Cavaco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Endless Nameless were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Salir to leave the ground with a draw.
