Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) SC Lampaca's Henrique Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Amílcar Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Pereira came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bucaco's Ilídio Torcato. But to his dismay, Ilídio Torcato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Henrique Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juliano Brites tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gentil Candal charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gentil Candal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gentil Candal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Henrique Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes SC Lampaca got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Nunes. In the 30th minute, Henrique Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SC Lampaca getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Henrique Nunes hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game, Ilídio Torcato dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Henrique Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lampaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ilídio Torcato came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SC Bucaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilídio Torcato couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes, Humberto Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lampaca and the SC Bucaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The SC Lampaca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Bucaco were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilídio Torcato to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alexandre Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lampaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bucaco the free kick. After 53 played minutes SC Lampaca got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Melo. In the 54th minute Ilídio Torcato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Ilídio Torcato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bucaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 64th minute, Nuno Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliano Brites having to interfere. Amílcar Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Lampaca's Fernando Pereira got control of the ball when Eurico Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliano Brites having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, SC Bucaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Soares struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Juliano Brites didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lampaca. Juliano Brites took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Henrique Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Bucaco's Juliano Brites played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Setúbal in the 97th minute of play. SC Bucaco were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SC Lampaca's much stronger midfield.
