Fernando Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Rangel in the 5th minute of play. Fernando Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Rangel in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Rangel in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Borba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Virgílio Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Aristides Beti notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Salsas's Virgílio Laureano. Virgílio Laureano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes of play, SC CIDADE SOL's Aristides Beti made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Laureano was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Salsas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Estevão Alves hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Luís Vaz fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Luís Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC CIDADE SOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 于希杰 hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Vaz made a kick off. Cláudio Roriz struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fernando Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salsas. In the 60th minute of the match, Jarbas Rangel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Borba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aristides Beti managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC CIDADE SOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Beti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgílio Laureano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Fernando Borba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Roriz in the 70th minute. Virgílio Laureano came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SC CIDADE SOL's Luís Vaz. But to his dismay, Luís Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Jarbas Rangel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Rangel in the 83rd minute of play forced SC CIDADE SOL's goalkeeper Fernando Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC CIDADE SOL's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jarbas Rangel 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. SC CIDADE SOL's Fernando Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SC CIDADE SOL from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC CIDADE SOL had played much better football throughout.
