SC CIDADE SOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alcino Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alcino Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Borba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Vital in the 18th minute. A collision led to SC CIDADE SOL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aristides Beti hit a great ball. Hermes Campelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermes Campelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee gave CCD Reguengo a penalty, 60 minutes into the game.
