Honorato Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Amaral in the 14th minute of the match. With 16 minutes on the clock, Rafael Fernandes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Honorato Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Koehler's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jorge Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Pereira having to interfere. Honorato Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Koehler in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Paulo Valério recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vítor Cruz. André Amaral hit a great ball. If Vicente Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Valério to make the kick off. Honorato Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Fnatic United's Vítor Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Casado in the 54th minute of play. FC Fnatic United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
