Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Valério made the kick off and thus started the match. Alexandre Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Pereira having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Valter Valadão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mares FC the free kick. Valter Valadão kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. André Neves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match, Delfim Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorato Pereira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 10thth minute of the game Alexandre Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barco FC's Honorato Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mares FC's Oliveira Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Valério in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Alexandre Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vasco Casado fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barco FC's protests and gave Vasco Casado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Barco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Casado to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Cristiano Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barco FC's Valter Valadão got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barco FC's zone, Alexandre Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Pereira came out of the goal and Alexandre Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Pereira was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Alexandre Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Barco FC's Fabrício Figueiredo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Mares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valério came free, but Oliveira Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mares FC's Oliveira Aleixo got control of the ball when Gregório Ramires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorato Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Alexandre Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregório Ramires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alexandre Sequeira charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Sequeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barco FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alexandre Sequeira hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Delfim Coelho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Barco FC's Honorato Pereira. Honorato Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliveira Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Valério, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mares FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
