After a defensive mix-up in Rochoso FC's zone, Paulo Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Santarém came out of the goal and Paulo Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. When Bruno Marques came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rochoso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Marques couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Simões in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Goja FC's goalkeeper Simão Anjos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Cardoso. Goja FC's Simão Anjos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Goja FC from getting a goal against them. If Emílio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
