After some careless play in the Rabaceira defense, Tomás Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Neto. The Rabaceira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Neto should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Moniz during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ONZE NERVOSOS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Filipe Moniz hit a great ball. Diamantino Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Authier in the 49th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilles Authier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Tomás Simões made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rabaceira's Diamantino Neto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ONZE NERVOSOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Fernando Liberato kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Diamantino Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Authier in the 78th minute of play. Gilles Authiers short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Diamantino Neto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in ONZE NERVOSOS's zone, Adalberto Júdice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Cabral came out of the goal and Adalberto Júdice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ONZE NERVOSOS's André Resende was substituted for Filipe Moniz. Gilles Authier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Diamantino Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 85 played minutes Rabaceira got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Júdice. Tomás Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Diamantino Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ONZE NERVOSOS's Joaquim Santos was substituted for José Machado. 91 minutes into the match, Tomás Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Neto. Rabaceira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. José Brás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diamantino Neto. Rabaceira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. ONZE NERVOSOS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
