Zacarias Vigário was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Amílcar Balsemão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Obrais booed when Tola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Fontoura kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Heitor Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Hamilton Corte-Real made a precise shot to the right of Xavier Delgado. Tola FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tola FC's zone, Hamilton Corte-Real stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Delgado came out of the goal and Hamilton Corte-Real tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Corte-Real in the 26th minute of the match. Gustavo Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Hamilton Corte-Real recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tola FC booed when Obrais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Liberato didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Obrais's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Sousa came free, but Zacarias Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tola FC's Pedro Trindade couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Obrais. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Sousa made a kick off. Zacarias Vigário didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Joaquim Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Heitor Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Joaquim Maia came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Maia couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Heitor Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Vigário saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Bettencourt's late challenge caught a Tola FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Bettencourt helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the game, one of Obrais:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Zacarias Vigário, was totally fooled by Tola FC's Pedro Trindade, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Xavier Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Corte-Real, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Tola FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
