Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cláudio Antas made the kick off which started today's match. With his leg Hipólito Lobo managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Franca FC's David Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 9 in the game by David Aguiar from a close distance when the talented Hipólito Lobo managed to make a qualified save. Levadas FC's players were relieved. In the 11th match minute, Franca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vale to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Levadas FC's Adérito Diegues broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Cláudio Antas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Levadas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Antas couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimas Neves in the 19th minute of play. Adolfo Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Franca FC booed when Levadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Jorge Vale sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Levadas FC's Hipólito Lobo didn't even have to move. David Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves David Aguiar could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Hipólito Lobo however easily saved by the left post. Adolfo Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipólito Lobo having to make a save. When Adolfo Santarém, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hipólito Lobo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Levadas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Adolfo Santarém scored to the left of an out of position Hipólito Lobo, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Santarém was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimas Neves got free with Lourenço Melo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Levadas FC's zone, David Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipólito Lobo came out of the goal and David Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hipólito Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Aveiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lourenço Melo. Franca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute, Gaspar Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Franca FC's Lourenço Melo got control of the ball when Dimas Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Antas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Melo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Aguiar in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipólito Lobo saved Levadas FC from getting behind. Cláudio Antas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Franca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Lourenço Melo was a little too slow when Cláudio Antas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
