When 龚适谦 got free in front of the goal in the 3rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Almiro Caldeira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the SC Sagres defense, 龚适谦 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almiro Caldeira. The SC Sagres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almiro Caldeira should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Carvide's Afonso Luz got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game 龚适谦 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sagres's Almiro Caldeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Leão was a little too slow when Fernando Patrício got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. Dércio Camacho's late challenge caught a SC Carvide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dércio Camacho helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of SC Sagres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Carvide:s goal. Almiro Caldeira went to the wrong direction when Abel Rodrigues was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Armando Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Jonasson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almiro Caldeira saved SC Sagres from getting behind. After a rather tough play, SC Sagres's Pedro Candal got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Joseph Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sagres's Almiro Caldeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 龚适谦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Almiro Caldeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Almiro Caldeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carvide. In the 42nd match minute, SC Sagres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dércio Camacho to maneuver through the defense. After the first half SC Carvide were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the SC Carvide defense, Sérgio Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Leão. The SC Carvide fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Leão should have stopped the shot. 龚适谦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Caldeira having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, 龚适谦 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almiro Caldeira. SC Sagres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 龚适谦 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Joseph Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the SC Carvide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Jonasson couldn't finish the play. In the 65th play minute 龚适谦 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Almiro Caldeira. 2-4. Armando Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Caldeira having to interfere. When 龚适谦 came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SC Carvide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 龚适谦 couldn't finish the play. Fernando Patrício hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Carlos Leiria took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Leão. Gustavo Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 龚适谦 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almiro Caldeira having to make a save. When Armando Oliveira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Almiro Caldeira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. SC Carvide's Armando Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, 龚适谦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carvide's supporters rose to their feet, but 龚适谦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almiro Caldeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Leiria went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score.
