Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Macedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 11thth minute of the game Bento Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Boieira's Alexandre Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Leão in the 12th minute of play. The F.C Xangai fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when F.C Xangai's Bento Guerreiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17thth minute of the game Bento Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Boieira's Alexandre Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Bernardo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Afonso Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, F.C Xangai's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Leão came free, but Tiago Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, SC Boieira's Bruno Borba made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Leão in the 34th minute of the match. F.C Xangai's Filipe Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Boieira's Oliveira Santos suffered a fractured collar bone after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Daniel Abreu's late challenge caught a SC Boieira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes F.C Xangai got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Abreu.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Guerreiro made a kick off. Alexandre Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Guerreiro in the 54th minute of play. Alexandre Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes SC Boieira got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Borba. Alexandre Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Guerreiro went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Leão got free with Tiago Pinho in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, F.C Xangai's Tiago Pinho got control of the ball when Alberto Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. If João Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C Xangai fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Boieira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
