Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Pinho got the match started through his kick off. When Adérito Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cachimbadas's protests and gave Adérito Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes SC Cachimbadas got a freekick which was hit by Adérito Figueiredo. Altino Santos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Idalécio Gusmão. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Rui Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepim's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altino Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Pepim's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Lameiras came free, but Fábio Osório reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Altino Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, one of SC Cachimbadas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Altino Santos, was totally fooled by Pepim's Idalécio Gusmão, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Abílio Resende charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abílio Resende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Higino Távora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Rui Pinho rounded SC Cachimbadas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Daniel Falcão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Altino Santos. SC Cachimbadas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 41 played minutes Rui Pinho rounded SC Cachimbadas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higino Távora to strike the kick off in the second half. Higino Távora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fábio Osório came out and tried to block the shot, but Higino Távora slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, SC Cachimbadas's Catarino Lameiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Osório narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Leal Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altino Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Pinho in the 60th minute of the match. Diego Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altino Santos having to interfere. Teodoro Fragoso's late challenge caught a SC Cachimbadas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Fragoso helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pepim! When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, SC Cachimbadas's Daniel Barroso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fábio Osório. During the 77th minute of the match Adérito Figueiredo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adérito Figueiredo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SC Cachimbadas's Adérito Figueiredo got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Pepim were awarded a corner. Idalécio Gusmão went to the cornerflag to take it. Diego Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Altino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Rui Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rui Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altino Santos having to interfere. Pepim were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Cachimbadas for a fine match.
