S C Lenhador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azedia FC the free kick. Daniel Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Sandro Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Esteves. S C Lenhador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. S C Lenhador's Nuno Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Guerreiro in the 5th minute of play. Nuno Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Reis went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 10 played minutes S C Lenhador got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Weeks. Nuno Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Reis in the 13th minute of play. Nuno Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Reis in the 23rd minute of the match. S C Lenhador's Nuno Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Reis in the 28th minute of play. Alexandre Leão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nuno Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Matos went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Francisco Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Lucas Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. S C Lenhador's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S C Lenhador's Nuno Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Guerreiro in the 43rd minute of play. If Lokman Usgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, S C Lenhador's Cristóvão Freitas got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Fábio Guerreiro had to leave the field with a concussion. Alexandre Leão's late challenge caught a Azedia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Leão helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Nuno Esteves, was totally fooled by Azedia FC's Sandro Nascimento, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, S C Lenhador's Nuno Esteves got control of the ball when Afonso Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Reis in the 69th minute of play forced S C Lenhador's goalkeeper Nuno Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S C Lenhador! When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Azedia FC's Sandro Nascimento got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nuno Esteves. During the 79th minute of the match Daniel Faro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daniel Faro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Daniel Faro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Azedia FC's Afonso Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Esteves came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Azedia FC's Daniel Macedo. But to his dismay, Daniel Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 93rd minute, Azedia FC's André Gomes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Esteves. Nuno Esteves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After 98 minutes, Lucas Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S C Lenhador and the Azedia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandro Nascimento shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Francisco Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The S C Lenhador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Azedia FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
