Dércio Mourinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Silva in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CF Gouveiense's zone, Filipe Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dércio Mourinho came out of the goal and Filipe Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dércio Mourinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Silva in the 21st minute of the match. Dércio Mourinho made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Vicente Silva sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Sanchequias's Vicente Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dércio Mourinho. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Vicente Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dércio Mourinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Sanchequias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filipe Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Silva was the one to do the kick off. Dércio Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Matias Júdice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. José Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Silva in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dércio Mourinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Filipe Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sanchequias's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dércio Mourinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the CF Gouveiense defense, Filipe Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dércio Mourinho. The CF Gouveiense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dércio Mourinho should have stopped the shot. Dércio Mourinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Henriques in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Silva in the 73rd minute of play forced CF Gouveiense's goalkeeper Dércio Mourinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Vicente Silva sped through CF Gouveiense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dércio Mourinho. In the 81st minute, Armando Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CF Gouveiense's Matias Júdice was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When José Henriques fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sanchequias's protests and gave José Henriques a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Sanchequias getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. José Henriques hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, SC Sanchequias's goalkeeper José Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesualdo Severo. Dércio Mourinho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Sanchequias's Filipe Silva. But to his dismay, Filipe Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Sanchequias had played much better football throughout.
