In the 26th minute, Normando Garcez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FCDiogo booed when Manchester Leeds United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Aragão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes, FCDiogo's Almiro Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juliano Vasconcelos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCDiogo reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Sabrosa in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juliano Vasconcelos saved Manchester Leeds United from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Hamilton Aragão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FCDiogo's Normando Garcez got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Normando Garcez made a precise shot to the right of Juliano Vasconcelos. Manchester Leeds United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Manuel Sabrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Normando Garcez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juliano Vasconcelos having to make a save. Juliano Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Manchester Leeds United's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Sabrosa came free, but Juliano Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FCDiogo fully deserved thier win.
