Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) Filipe Silva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Hugo Lameirinhas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Amaro, 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, SC Sanchequias's Filipe Silva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Padilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Manuel Sabrosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Amaro. SC Sanchequias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Sabrosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Armando Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Normando Garcez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Amaro. The goal made the score 3-1. After 35 played minutes SC Sanchequias got a freekick which was hit by Abel Correia. A collision led to SC Sanchequias getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. José Henriques hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Sabrosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Hamilton Tomé charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamilton Tomé the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, FCDiogo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamilton Tomé to maneuver through the defense. SC Sanchequias's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 57th minute of the game, when Pedro Cruz after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of FCDiogo's goal. Pedro Cruz was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. José Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 65th match minute, FCDiogo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. The FCDiogo fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when FCDiogo's Normando Garcez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Manuel Sabrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Sabrosa in the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, FCDiogo's Manuel Sabrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Amaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Manuel Sabrosa came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FCDiogo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Sabrosa couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Normando Garcez sped through SC Sanchequias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Amaro. Manuel Sabrosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Amaro having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Filipe Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sanchequias's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Padilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FCDiogo fully deserved thier win.
