Heitor Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Viriato Madruga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Pereira in the 19th minute of the match. SC Forjais's Viriato Madruga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Forjais from getting a goal against them. Caetano Barata kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Anaya got free with Viriato Madruga in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Madruga having to interfere. Falagueiro's Daniel Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Monsanto in the 39th minute of play. SC Forjais's Viriato Madruga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SC Forjais from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes, João Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falagueiro and the SC Forjais players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falagueiro's João Jesus got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mário Rios made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Monsanto during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, SC Forjais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Monsanto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SC Forjais defense, Amadeo Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Madruga. In the 76th minute, Domingos Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falagueiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Falagueiro fully deserved thier win.
