After 21 minutes, Tomás Paiva made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sandomil FC's Rúben Lustosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rúben Lustosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Paiva in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Branco in the 41st minute of play forced Sandomil FC's goalkeeper Rúben Lustosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Jesus made a kick off. If Tomás Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Ricardo Jesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rúben Lustosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Jesus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for FC Águias Negras CC. Eduardo Guerreiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rúben Lustosa. 0-6. Rúben Lustosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Jesus in the 88th minute of the match. Rúben Lustosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match FC Águias Negras CC got a corner. Sandomil FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Guerreiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Águias Negras CC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Guerreiro in the 95th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ricardo Jesus managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Eduardo Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Águias Negras CC played a much better game than Sandomil FC and deserved their victory. The Sandomil FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
