Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horácio Campelo made the kick off which started today's match. Manuel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Alfredo Veríssimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Veríssimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Coelho's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. If Horácio Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Lemos came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Alvorninha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Lemos couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Horácio Campelo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vítor Ferreira, passed just outside the right post. Ivan Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Sá's late challenge caught a Alvorninha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Sá helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Veríssimo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fanhaes FC's Manuel Coelho. But to his dismay, Manuel Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alfredo Veríssimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Alvorninha's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Ribeiro came free, but Alfredo Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanhaes FC's Basílio Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alvorninha's zone, Basílio Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Veríssimo came out of the goal and Basílio Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Basílio Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Veríssimo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basílio Ribeiro to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Caio Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvorninha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanhaes FC the free kick. The supporters of Fanhaes FC booed when Alvorninha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Alvorninha's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Ribeiro came free, but Alfredo Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Campelo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvorninha's goalkeeper Alfredo Veríssimo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Veríssimo having to interfere. Ivan Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Campelo in the 71st minute of play forced Fanhaes FC's goalkeeper Vítor Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanhaes FC's Vítor Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Campelo in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Basílio Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Veríssimo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Alfredo Veríssimo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Coelho went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Horácio Campelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fanhaes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
