José Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Medronheira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Cunha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Cunha in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Severiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Severiano having to make a save. Kevin Severiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Kevin Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Trindade in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delfim Trindade to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Medronheira FC defense, Delfim Trindade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Severiano. The Medronheira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Severiano should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Redondelo's Rodrigo Magalhães got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kevin Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Trindade in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute José Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kevin Severiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
