The Lobel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Jesus should have stopped the shot. If Jorge Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Correia was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Estrela Dragão getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bernardo Neto hit a great ball. Jorge Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Murilo Cabral made a huge save. Rodrigo Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. José Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Roriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lobel's José Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Correia in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Correia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lobel's José Jesus. José Jesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
