Spectators: 6889 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 111) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Santiago Franco made the kick off which started today's match. Adelino Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Adelino Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Franco in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Joaquim Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguiavareira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pinhote the free kick. A collision led to Aguiavareira getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joaquim Sousa hit a great ball. Rui Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Madruga having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Fábio Pedroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pinhote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Luís Coimbra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginaldo Madruga having to make a save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguiavareira's goalkeeper Reginaldo Madruga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Flores in the 33rd minute of play forced SC Pinhote's goalkeeper Adelino Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Pinhote's Luís Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reginaldo Madruga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, SC Pinhote's Fernando Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Madruga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Reginaldo Madruga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Coimbra went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Reginaldo Madruga came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pinhote's Luís Coimbra. But to his dismay, Luís Coimbra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. SC Pinhote made a substitution. Gonçalo Neto replaced Luís Viana. 70 minutes into the match, SC Pinhote's goalkeeper Adelino Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Flores. Adelino Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Franco in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Azevedo in the 73rd minute of play forced Aguiavareira's goalkeeper Reginaldo Madruga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Reginaldo Madruga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Pinhote's Adelino Antunes got control of the ball when Geraldo Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes of play Aguiavareira's Joaquim Sousa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes into the match, Aguiavareira's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Azevedo came free, but Reginaldo Madruga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Pedro Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguiavareira's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Aguiavareira's Teodoro Festas got a free kick in the 96th minute. SC Pinhote walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
