In the 10th minute, Aguiavareira's Teodoro Festas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Vieira. Lucas Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Hélder Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Santiago Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Madruga having to interfere. If Gabriel Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

After a rather tough play, SC Cepelos's Abel Fontes got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Santiago Franco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Lucas Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. SC Cepelos's Lucas Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Franco in the 58th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Valter Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Faros short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Reginaldo Madruga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel Viegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reginaldo Madruga. Aguiavareira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Paulo Faro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SC Cepelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Faro couldn't finish the play. Paulo Faro's late challenge caught a Aguiavareira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Faro helped the player get up and apologised. Reginaldo Madruga made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Hélder Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Faro in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Madruga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hélder Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Flores in the 93rd minute of play. After 93 played minutes SC Cepelos got a freekick which was hit by Abel Fontes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Cepelos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
