A collision led to Algeraz getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Paulo Anjos hit a great ball. Raul Moreira struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Afonso Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bustelos FC. Raul Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Pacheco having to interfere. Algeraz's Afonso Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Moniz in the 10th minute of play. Augusto Gueifão hit a great ball. Duarte Moniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afonso Pacheco came out and tried to block the shot, but Duarte Moniz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Algeraz's Afonso Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Moreira in the 23rd minute of play. Afonso Pacheco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Moniz in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Vaz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Vaz saved Bustelos FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bustelos FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play Algeraz's Paulo Anjos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paulo Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Duarte Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Raul Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Moreira in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Moreira in the 42nd minute of play forced Algeraz's goalkeeper Afonso Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bustelos FC's Jacinto Monteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Pacheco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Afonso Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Moniz in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Pacheco saved Algeraz from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Bustelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Resende to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bustelos FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Duarte Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored Algeraz's protests and gave Bento Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Algeraz got a freekick which was hit by Bento Santarém. 90 minutes into the match, Algeraz's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Monteiro came free, but Afonso Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Raul Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Alves went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bustelos FC had played much better football throughout.
